About Aleem...

Aleem Mohamed is Born and brought up in Chennai (Used to be MADRAS), India. Aleem has inherited his singing talent from his father who is famous for singing Urdu Khazidas in the local community.

Aleem primarily focuses on as a singer with a versatile, gifted and self-trained voice, singing songs ranging from Mohamed Rafi , Kishore Kumar, Udit narayan, Kumar sanu, Sonu Nigam, Shaan and most lead singers of the current Bollywood film industry.

Aleem has been singing since he was four years old, starting with 'laila Mai laila' from Qurbaani as his favourite song (Strange indeed..!) . He has won numerous best singer awards from his school and college competitions and also whichever competitions he has participated.

Whatever you want in life, you will acheive, that is very true in Aleem's case.  In addition to his accomplishment as an Electronics and Communication Engineer, his passion for singing has brought him in touch with people's heart and made him popular in Ireland.

Aleem, since moving to Ireland in 2001, has been performing on various venues  across ireland. He has enjoyed tremendous love and support from the local community in Ireland. His first song in Ireland was ' Ae Ajnabee' from 'Dil se' which he really sang from dil se and won people's hearts. He has been singing songs from all the latest movies and also old classics with style and elegance.

Aleem did couple of months of live singing with Sunrise radio in 2006 and received very good support and response. He is looking to perform in radio stations sooner, perhaps starting his own internet radio station.

Due to the ever growing interest and demand for Indian music, Aleem started doing DJing also. People admire and enjoy his song selection with a suitability for the event and mixing skills. He has released bollywood mix (CEE DEE No.1 Vol1) which is a huge success.

Aleem is doing Music Production since 2006 and learning from the experts in Temple Bar Music Centre.

Aleem has been studying music theory , guitar and Piano from Castleknock School of Music and received three high achiever awards
